Hearing Protection

Hearing protectors are required to prevent noise induced hearing loss. These devices reduce the noise energy reaching and causing damage to the inner ear. OSHA requires that hearing protectors be worn that are capable of reducing the noise hazard down to at least 90 dBA and, in some cases, down to 85 dBA or below.
